Pebble Walk Field Trip

PEBBLE WALKS will be offer for three field locations.

  • Advocate Harbour
  • Partridge Island
  • Five Islands Lighthouse

These walks are at easily accessible sites, parking is close by and there is public access. Sturdy footwear is required as the beaches are rocky. Participants can choose to purchase the PEBBLE FIELD KIT and other materials available through the GeoLearns website or bring your own backpack and field tools. It is recommended that participants take the Pre-Field Trip Rock & Mineral Identification workshop prior to registering for a Pebble Walk.

Cost:

$50/person – with own transportation to field trip location

$200/person (minimum 10 participants) – with bus transportation included
